Hiring a henna artist turns a party into something guests actually remember. Everyone leaves with a piece of art on their skin that lasts one to two weeks, which means your party keeps getting talked about long after the day itself. It works for almost any age group and almost any occasion: birthday parties, Sweet 16s and quinceañeras, graduations, family reunions and girls' nights.
We work by the hour. An artist sees roughly ten to fifteen guests an hour depending on the size of the designs, so a two-hour booking comfortably covers a party of twenty to thirty. Guests choose from our design books or ask for something specific, and we draw it by hand on the spot.
For younger guests and for anyone who wants something bolder, we also offer glitter henna: the same hand-drawn work finished with cosmetic glitter in colours that show up instantly rather than developing over a day or two. It is very popular at children's parties because the effect is immediate.

We confirm the booking
We tell you how many artists your guest count needs so nobody spends the party queueing.
We set up on the day
We arrive early, set up a small table and chairs, and lay out the design books. We need very little space.
Guests come through
Guests drop in throughout the booking rather than all at once, so the party carries on around us.
Common questions
Roughly ten to fifteen, depending on design size. Small designs on the back of the hand go quickly. Larger pieces running up the forearm take longer.
If you have a large group and a fixed window, we will bring more than one artist so everyone gets seen.
We regularly work with children from around five upwards, teenagers and adults alike. The paste is entirely natural, and the process is painless, so it suits almost any age.
For very young children, glitter henna is often the better choice because the colour appears straight away and there is no waiting for the stain to develop.
Very little. A small table and two chairs is enough, ideally somewhere with decent light and out of direct wind if you are outdoors. We can bring our own table and seating if you need us to.
One to two weeks with good aftercare. The stain darkens over the first 24 to 48 hours and then gradually fades as the skin exfoliates.
We hand out aftercare instructions so your guests get the best possible colour and the longest wear.
Yes, most of our party work is in people's homes. We cover Connecticut and Southern Massachusetts including the Springfield area.
